What are My Options for Research

This article is based on a review and analysis of in-depth materials regarding breast cancer screening and prevention recommendations from reputable organizations such as the American College of Radiology (ACR), the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), as well as guidelines from Japan, China, and the Ministry of Health of Vietnam. Additionally, the article references Peter Attia’s book (2023), focusing on future medical trends under the concept of Medicine 3.0.

The search process used keywords such as “breast cancer,” “prevention,” “Medicine 3.0,” “5P model,” “risk factor,” and “healthspan.” Selected materials were based on relevance and reliability, concentrating on four main areas: (1) the effectiveness and limitations of screening methods, (2) breast cancer prevention strategies and recommendations, (3) the role of proactive health care in extending healthspan, and (4) the application of Medicine 3.0 in breast cancer prevention. The analysis focused on comparing advantages and disadvantages, providing recommendations aimed at improving the effectiveness of advanced, personalized, and proactive breast cancer prevention.

Medicine 3.0: Medical trends from the past, including Medicine 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0, differ mainly in the timing of health care initiation and the objectives to be achieved. Medicine 3.0 emphasizes proactive health care, focusing on mindset, habits, and lifestyle changes to enhance “healthspan,” rather than merely extending lifespan. The key distinction is that while Medicine 2.0 typically intervenes after health issues arise, Medicine 3.0 integrates health care into daily life. This strategy is built around five core elements: physical activity, nutrition, sleep, mental health, and the appropriate use of supplements, hormones, or medications.
